The story of Isabelle
Named after a woman of quiet elegance and fearless passion, Isabelle is more than a restaurant — it is a tribute. A tribute to my Grand mother" Isa" as a young boy growing up she would cook up these fine French meals. Canapés, Entrée, mains and bake these most amazing desserts. This is where my Passion for Great French fine food came from.to the grand tradition of French gastronomy, reimagined through the lens of modern South Africa. To the intimacy of a perfectly set table. To the theatre of a meal served with intention and poetry. At Isabelle, every element is intentional. The gleam of cutlery, the curve of a soufflé, the pause between wine and word — each part of a journey where the boundaries between past and present dissolve in favor of timeless experience.
